Alexa walked up the spiral staircase to her dorm, after an exciting first day back at Hogwarts. She peeked out the window and saw that it was pitch black outside, the moon hidden behind dark clouds. Storm weather, she thought happily as she searched for her trunk. She found it at the foot of the bed nearest the bathroom. She grinned and unhooked the trunk clasps. Yawning widely and loudly she rubbed her eyes, not even thinking about the makeup and not really caring either as she was alone and getting ready for bed. She inhaled the sweet scent of home from the trunk and pulled out the first pair of pajamas and socks that she saw. She pulled on her bathrobe and pulled out her bathroom bag, walking into the bathroom. There she pulled on her pj's and socks and organized her bathroom things. Then she skipped gracefully back out to the main dorm room and set up her alarm clock and lamp on her bedside tale. Then she pulled out her personal bedding and grabbed 4 books from the top of the trunk for her nightstand as well, so that she would have easy access to a book if she needed. She made a mental note to set up her bookcase as soon as possible so that the rest of her books could be neatly arranged. She re made the bed with her own bedding and left the rest of her trunk to be unpacked the next day. Then she pulled back the covers, turned her lamp on and the rest of the lights in the dorm she made dimmer so that her dorm mates could find their way when they arrived and then she grabbed a book and got cozy in her bed. Opening the book she started reading, getting caught up in the adventures of Finn.
