Alexa skipped gracefully up the stairs, she had finished getting herself ready in her dorm and had decided to come up early for a spot of breakfast before classes. Checking her watch she saw that it was only 6:30 in the morning, that definitely explained why her dorm mates had been fast asleep when she woke up. She pulled out her rumpled schedule from the pocket of her jeans, one last time to make sure that she had a break after Breakfast so that she wouldn't get in trouble for wearing her Muggle clothes to a lesson. She smoothed out the paper and read over her schedule one more time.
Alexa nodded her head and folded the paper back up, stuck it in her pocket and walked into the Great Hall. She inhaled the smells of fresh food that was wafting around the room. She took a quick glance around the Hall and saw that she was alone in the hall. More for me! She thought happily as she took a seat at the Hufflepuff Table and pulled some eggs, biscuits and jelly, bacon and a glass of apple juice towards her. She picked up her fork and pulled the Daily Prophet out of her bag, she spread it out on the table and read in between bites.
