Annabeth left her dormitory, walked past the statue of Rowena Ravenclaw and across the Ravenclaw common room. She left the common room and walked down the staircase, heading towards the library. It was a Saturday, and since she had nothing on for the day she decided to get in some reading at the library. She was a self professed bookworm and tended to be so deeply engrossed in books that she could even skip meals. Annabeth entered the library and greeted the strict librarian. "Good morning, Madam Pince." The librarian scowled at her before saying, "No more staying past the closing time, Annabeth. I do have things of my own to do that are far more important than chasing people like you who enjoy staying here till past the closing time out of the library." Annabeth rolled her eyes and replied, "Yes Madam." She then headed towards her favourite section of the library and picked out a few books about Qudditch. Annabeth loved the game of Qudditch and enjoyed reading up on its history as well as reading on how to improve her Qudditch playing. Satisfied with her choice of books, she walked towards an empty table next to the window, which oversaw the Qudditch pitch. She put the books down on the table and sat down. Looking out the window, she noted that there were already students training on the pitch, despite it being quite early in the morning. She then turned and looked around the library, hoping that some of her friends had come down to the library as well. She was a little disappointed to find that only two other students were present in the library, and they didn't seem particularly friendly. She shifted her gaze to her book and turned the page, wondering if anyone she knew would come to the library to join her.

Alexa found herself wandering the castle, enjoying the warmth and comfort of the corridors. She was not looking forward to having to decend to the Kitchens where it was pretty darn cold, to return to her common room. Alexa enjoyed Saturdays, her favorite day of the week actually and she had just finished applying for a spot on her house Quidditch Team so she was feeling even happier than usual. She ventured up the stairs and decided to go to the Library to research a little about the sport. She hadn't been interested in Quidditch until the past summer, where she had gone to a couple of matches with her friends. Alexa pushed open the door to the Library and could almost feel the quiet in her bones, she smiled to the Librarian and greeted her, Good day Madam Pince, in a low voice, knowing the womans acute sense of hearing the slighteest noise, would allow her to hear Alexa. She didn't venture to the Library that often and she tended to leave shortly after arriving unless she really needed the access of old dusty books, so Madame Pince just grimaced and nodded her head slightly before turning back to a pile of books on a cart, that she started to check in or out. Alexa put her head down and ducked around the many bookshelves until she arrived in the Quidditch Section. Surprisingly there was another girl there, browsing the collection of books. Alexa smiled and said, Hello there, I'm Alexa, Sixth Year Puffle and proud of it. She stuck out her hand for a hand shake and glimpsed passed the girl at the many titles of books, looking for one on the skills and rules of Quidditch. www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=43825169--Outfit

Annabeth finished the book she had been reading and started to stare at the window instead of starting on another book. Sigh, I'm not really in the mood to be reading today. I'd much rather be outside playing Quidditch. After a few minutes of watching the Quidditch players practicing, she stood up to return her books, intending to leave the library and get her broomstick to go play Quidditch. She put back the books in their rightful places and was about to turn and leave the library when a black book struck her eye. She picked up the book and was thrilled to see that it was a book on her favourite Quidditch team, the Holyhead Harpies, an all female Quidditch team based in Wales. Smiling, she decided to finish this book before leaving the library. She turned and was surprised to see another girl standing next to her. The girl introduced herself as Alexa, a Hufflepuff in the sixth year. Annabeth shook the girl's hand and smiled at her. "Hello, I'm Annabeth and I'm a fifth year in Ravenclaw." She was surprised that the girl was browsing in the Quidditch section, none of Annabeth's female friends were into the sport as much as she was. "Hey, so you like Quidditch too?" Annabeth asked the girl. "None of my friends really like it, they find it a waste of time and would much rather be reading. Me, well I like doing both." She shrugged and gestured at the book in her hand to emphasize her point.
