height: 5 feet 6 inches

general:
Kassidy for being so active has a very slender build. A great body for someone who is into running not so much for a girl who loves to play Quidditch. With that her body is rather muscular, more so than she would want it. Yes, the abs and toned legs are nice but when your arms are more cut than a guy's she does get a tad self conscious. Along with playing Quidditch comes numerous injuries. Kass does have a scar on the bridge of her nose but she tries to cover it up the best she can. However she is forgetful, which leads to questions like, "what's on your nose?" There are also scars on her knees from falling off brooms and out of trees from her younger years.
Kassidy has straight hair and she hates it. Well she doesn't really hate it she just thinks she doesn't have the time or patience to style it. Almost all the time her hair is pulled back into a pony tail and then there is her headband that she goes no where without to catch any loose strands. When she keeps it down it only gets in her way. Then for the make-up department it's mascara maybe some lip gloss and she's out the door. Kass doesn't see why she should waste time with make-up when it will come off when she's playing Quidditch anyways.
dressing style:
There was a time when Kassidy's mom thought she would be a perfect little girl who wore dresses and liked the color pink. Turned out Kassidy liked shorts and t-shirt more and would rather be covered in mud than that awful bubblegum color. When she isn't playing Quidditch or doing something athletic she is usually in a pair of jean or jean shorts (depending on the weather) and a fitted t-shirt. In her earlier years she used to hide her body behind baggy shirts and shorts but now feeling rather confident with herself she doesn't.
Kass does like bright colors just not pink. her favorite color to wear is actually yellow and you can definitely tell if you ever saw her closet. Her second favorite would have to be blue. In the winter months she wears comfy sweaters that she can pretty much hide in and in the summer months mostly just tank tops and shorts. Usually that is a lot of clothing for her because once the sun is out Kassidy is usually just running around in her bikini top and a pair of shorts.

PERSONALITY:
Kassidy has a rather quiet personality when it comes to meeting new people. She isn't so shy that she won't introduce herself or strike up a conversation, the right word would be she is cautious around new people. When someone meets Kassidy for the first time she let's them do all the talking while she is figuring out in her head if she is going to like the person or not. So someone meeting her for the first time might think that she is shy or even worse think she is stuck up. Kass is neither she just wants to know what kind of person she is talking to first before becoming friends with them.
Now once Kass decides she is going to be your friend, you are stuck with her. She is very loyal to her friends and will do almost anything for them. She is known to get up at all hours of the night to help a friend who is too drunk, just got broken up with or just needs someone to talk too. Sometimes Kass will go to drastic measures to make her friends laugh. Even though she might hurt herself in the process, it puts a smile on their face, which is all she is concerned with.
Quidditch is a whole different side of Kassidy and takes up a big part of her personality. She is competitive when it comes to this sport. If someone doesn't want to be talking Quidditch for at least two hours don't even bring up the sport. She knows most of the history behind the sport and has gone to multiple professional matches, mostly to watch her dad play. During a game, her mind is set on winning and the other players aren't her friends, even though they might get along outside of the stadium. Sure she believes in sportsmanship but Quidditch is a rough sport and people get hurt.
Then there is that whole personality when it comes to guys. Kass has always thought of guys as her friends. She has three brothers so she was always around them constantly. Plus being such a huge fan of Quidditch she found out she connected more with guys. Yet as she has gotten older she has found more of her guy friend's look more and more attractive. Kassidy doesn't really know what to do other than talk about Quidditch and other guy things, which come so easily to her. She's almost sixteen years old and hasn't been on a date yet or even had her first kiss! This doesn't bother her much because she is more focused on her Quidditch career and that there will be plenty of time for guys in her future.

HISTORY
The first and worst blizzard of the year hit on November 30th, and the second child was born into the Wood family. Kassidy Danielle Wood was born at 8pm just when the storm showed no sign of stopping. She was born a week early, even though that was no problem, she was still a fully developed baby. Kass came into the world crying but and still cried when she was in her mother's arms. However as soon as she father took hold of her she stopped crying. Seems like being daddy's little girl started there.
In Kass' childhood she had a lot of great memories. She loved spending time with her older brother and father playing Quidditch and going to different matches all over the country. Her broom could honestly be considered her best friend. She went no where without it and she used to through a fit when her mother tried to tell her she couldn't bring it when they went into town. Kassidy calmed down a bit once she grew out of those tantrums but that just meant she took her anger out on something else. Like flying or acting like one of the guys. Multiple times she fell off her broom or got hit too hard during a little scrimmage that she ended up with something bleeding or broken. Injuries are nothing new to her and she definitely doesn't cry easily.
Kassidy was actually slightly worried when she would get her Hogwarts letter. She has a rather late birthday and didn't know if she would be getting it when she was still 11 or would have to wait a whole year to wait until she was officially 12. Thankfully she got the Hogwarts letter when she was 11 seeing she would be turning 12 by the beginning of December. When she thought about being sorted Kass thought for sure she would be with her older brother in Gryffindor. When the hat yelled out Hufflepuff! It was a total shock to herself and to her family. However after a few days in the house she knew she belonged there.
Hogwarts was such a great place for Kassidy. She hated that she had to take flying lessons her first year. She was shocked at how many students couldn't even handle a broom. What bothered her even more, and her father warned her was that she couldn't be on the Quidditch team until her third year. Watching the games were painful to her knowing she couldn't play with them yet. Kassidy found a lot of friends in all houses yet trusted the ones in Slytherin the least. Nothing against them, they just seemed to stick to their own.
Once Kassidy was able to play Quidditch she tried out for her favorite position, Keeper, which she got. There she made even more friends and had a ton more fun being part of a team. In her sixth year at Hogwarts, she is going to try harder to get better grades and maybe work her way into becoming captain for the Hufflepuff team.

ROLEPLAY SAMPLE:People walked by Dominique without much notice of her. Few she could feel looked over her should to see what she was reading. Then editing. As she scribbled something out with her quill. Others she knew might have noticed her as a Weasley. Yet many still thought that Weasleys were red headed and had freckles. This girl had neither. Beautiful blond hair with blue eyes to go along with it. And those blue eyes were going over her latest article for the Daily Prophet. That was if they didn’t publish it again. Which she has been getting a lot of lately. So far the excuses were she wasn’t experienced enough and that the people wouldn’t want to read what she was writing about. Which was the truth of course. And she sort of got it when they said she wasn’t experienced enough. Yet Dom has always wanted to become a journalist. In school for a little bit there was a paper and she interviewed people and helped out with it as much as she could. Yet once she graduated the paper died since no one had as much heart as she did.
As she bit her lower lip she crossed another sentence. Dominique rethought about it and almost decided to add it back in. However after flipping back a few pages in her notebook she realized it sounded better without it. Hopefully. She had been sitting at one of those small cafes that littered Diagon Alley. Others were sitting at the other tables around her yet their conversations were not important. Dom took a sip of her tea that had milk and honey in it. Yet when she was on the run for the most part she only was able to put sugar in it. And a lot of sugar. Like three or four. Again she re-read everything she wrote. With a frustrated sigh she ripped out the three pages that she wrote so far this afternoon. She crumbled them together into a ball and threw it into the nearest garbage can. That wasn’t going to work. Maybe she should just ask to write an advice column? Would be everything she ever wanted. A column and giving people the truth. Well what she thought was the truth.
Leaning back in her chair she finally glanced around to see if anyone looked interesting. People who usually looked interesting had something interesting to say. Even though everyone’s opinion counted. Yet around here were young couples and then an older couple in the farther corner. Who still looked in love from the day they first met. So far love hasn’t hit Dominique yet and wasn’t sure she if she wanted it. Still had plenty of life to live and for some reason didn’t want to be held down by anyone else. Even though it would be great to share that experience with someone who did love her. The more she thought about it made her think that she would not be able to write an advice column. What about all those people who would write about what problems they had in their relationship? How could she possibly offer advice when love hasn’t hit her yet. Well maybe that was for the better. Since she couldn’t relate to her own events and would be able to give out good advice. Unpolluted by what she went through. She would definitely have to ask about that column now.
The day wasn’t close to over yet. Just early afternoon. And no matter how much Dominique loved to sleep in work had to be done. Just the way life went now. No more school so no more making up excuses for teachers who only gave you a slap on the wrist. Now it could cost her job if she was late for work. Or didn’t follow the rules. And she didn’t want that to happen. Needed the money if she wanted to actually get a good apartment in the city. The city was where everything happened so that was where a journalist was supposed to live. Even her style has changed. Dom’s wardrobe was much more professional and made her look older than she appeared. Or maybe she looked like a little girl playing dress up? Either way she dressed the way a professional woman should and hopefully would make an impression on someone important
